"Getting a topographic survey using traditional methods is labor intensive, time consuming and expensive. We used to combine a forestry mower, bush hog, and machetes to clear lines in a grid pattern so that surveyors could get elevation shots. Using foliage piercing LiDAR combined with drone technology obfuscates the need for any clearing. This allows the topographic survey to be performed much faster, with less expense and less impact to the subject property. Ecko360 has been great, we have used them on multiple projects and their results have been consistently high-quality.
